Timothy Anderson

​

Owner and Operator of School of Two Swords Infiniti, Timothy Anderson, trained in Tomahawk and Bowie under the guidance and tutelage of Col. Dwight McLemore from the Summer of 2001 until 2015. In 2002, after completing the requirements for full instructor status in Khukri, Tim was given permission from the Colonel to teach the McLemore Fighting Systems, which he still teaches through various workshops and seminars.


Specializing in edged weapons and empty-handed combative styles, Tim began his formal training in edged weapons and Muay Thai in 1994, while in Virginia Beach at Lynx Academy, under Frank Cucci of Seal Team Six.  In August of 1995, he met Tom Sotis, and began training in knife exclusively under him in the family system AMOK! Through Tom, Tim had the opportunity to train in Cebu, the Philippines and a few other of its cities and islands with Grand Tuhon, Leo T. Gaje Jr.


Tim continued his training in JKD Concepts Thai, and started Lameco Escrima with Guro Mike Krivka in Maryland for over four years at Martial Arts Koncepts (MAK). In 2000, he began to teach the Navy Master at Arms at Patuxent Naval Air Station in Close Quarter Combat and Knife and Tomahawk. On September 13 th , 2001, he was
sworn into the Naval Reserves as a Master at Arms First Class and was the Close Quarter Combat and Edged Weapons Instructor at Dahlgren Naval Base. He has also served as a Correctional Officer and spent four years at our Nation’s Capital as a Federal Capitol Police Officer protecting the United States House of Representatives.

 He received expert level training in the Spanish Navaja under Maestro James Loriega, who continues to be a major influence today.

 

With over thirty years edged weapons exclusive training and 0ver 47 years in Martial Arts and Combatives he has developed a system and teaching method comparable to any. Tim is available both within the US and Internationally for workshops and seminars on knife, tomahawk and long knife, and empty-handed combatives, with School of Two Swords Infiniti.
